Hugna Terms of Service

Version: 1.0
Date: 3 November 2026

1. Who provides the service?

Hugna is provided by Hugna AS, company registration number 938 361 452, Trelastgata 21, Oslo, Norway. Contact: hei@hugna.no. These Terms apply to your use of Hugna, including profiles, activities, invitations and messaging.

2. Who can use Hugna?

You must be at least 18. When registering, you provide your date of birth and confirm your age. BankID verification is not used during the pilot. You must provide accurate information, use your own account and protect your login details. False profiles, impersonation and attempts to evade account restrictions are prohibited.

3. What is Hugna?

Hugna helps people find others to enjoy activities with. You can choose an activity, view relevant profiles, contact others and arrange to meet. Hugna is designed for social connections and friendship, not dating.

An activity can be an open intention without an agreed date, time or venue. Creating or expressing interest in an activity does not mean that a meeting has been arranged. Users decide who they wish to meet and agree on the details together.

4. Prices and partners

Hugna's core features are free during the pilot. Some activities or Hugna Fordel offers may involve charges from external organizers or venues. Payment, booking, cancellation and refunds are normally governed by your agreement with that provider. Age limits, offer hours and other restrictions should be stated with the offer. Hugna remains responsible for its own information and services under applicable law.

5. Real-life meetings

You decide whether to answer messages, accept invitations or meet someone. Showing interest does not create an obligation to meet. Be considerate, communicate changes and respect other people's boundaries. We recommend choosing a public place for a first meeting.

Hugna cannot guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by other users or that a proposed meeting will occur. This does not exclude liability that Hugna has under mandatory law.

6. Content and conduct

You retain rights to your own content, while granting Hugna a limited, non-exclusive permission to store and display it as necessary to provide the service. You must have the right to share any images, text or other information you publish.

Harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual harassment, spam, deceptive undisclosed marketing, fraud and disclosure of others' private information without a lawful basis are prohibited. See our Community Guidelines for details.

7. Reporting and moderation

You may block or report another user. Based on severity and available evidence, Hugna may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, deactivate or terminate an account. Actions should be proportionate. You may contact us if you believe a moderation decision is incorrect. Necessary protective measures may be taken immediately in serious situations.

8. Account deactivation and deletion

You may temporarily deactivate your account or choose permanent deletion through account controls. Deactivation limits visibility and activity but allows later reactivation. On permanent deletion, personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Conversation history may remain visible to other participants where there is a lawful basis.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a stable and secure service, but technical problems or maintenance may cause interruptions. Material changes to the service or these Terms will be communicated appropriately. Changes do not affect mandatory legal rights.

10. Liability and governing law

Users are responsible for their own actions and arrangements with others. Hugna does not control everything that happens outside its platform. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Norwegian law applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections otherwise applicable to you.
