Hugna Community Guidelines
Version: 1.0
Date: 3 November 2026
Good connections start with respect
Hugna makes it easier to find people to do things with. Taking the initiative should feel natural, saying no should be equally natural, and mutual respect should always come first. These Guidelines apply to profiles, activities, messages and other use of Hugna.
1. Be genuine
Use an honest profile. Do not impersonate someone, create fake accounts or post another person's pictures without appropriate permission.
2. Respect boundaries
People choose whether to reply, get to know you or meet. Respect a no. Repeated unwanted contact, pressure, threats, sexual harassment and other harassment are prohibited.
3. Treat people with respect
Discrimination, hateful behaviour, bullying and degrading treatment are not accepted. You may choose whom to meet, but you must treat others respectfully.
4. Be honest about activities
Describe your plans accurately. Do not use activities for scams, spam or undisclosed commercial solicitation. Let others know when arrangements change or are cancelled. Expressing interest is not a promise to attend.
5. Respect privacy
Do not share someone else's conversations, photos, address, phone number or other private information without a valid legal basis or permission. Ask before posting photographs or video of people you meet. Avoid disclosing unnecessary personal information.
6. Safety first
Consider meeting in a public place for the first time. Let someone you trust know where you are going, agree on the plan and make sure you can travel home independently. You may always withdraw from an activity or leave a meeting.
7. Prohibited misuse
Violence, threats, fraud, impersonation, unwanted sexual material, non-consensual sharing of intimate images, spam, unlawful activity and attempts to evade blocks or bans are prohibited.
8. Reporting and consequences
Use the reporting function if something happens. Provide an accurate description and relevant evidence if you choose. You do not need to remain in contact with someone to report them. Hugna reviews the case and may warn the user, remove content, restrict features or suspend/terminate an account. We may act immediately where there is serious risk. Contact hei@hugna.no if you believe a decision is wrong.
Hugna makes it easier to meet. People make the meetings meaningful.
